One-pot Easter lunch: rhubarb and ginger lamb chops

The long Easter weekend is nearly upon us and for those lucky enough to have time off work, it's a chance to spend some time in the kitchen and share food with loved ones. We've picked some of our favourite Easter recipes to see you through the holiday. Kicking things off is this simple but delicious one-pot Easter lunch: tart and warming lamb chops with earthy beetroot and potatoes.

Fail-safe baking: chocolate hot cross buns These buns are the spruced-up version of the Easter classic.

New ideas: Indian-style glazed ham A showstopper ham rubbed with a spiced glaze and topped with almonds.

Make it traditional: simnel cake This springtime bake is packed full of juicy fruit and marzipan.

Use your leftovers: lamb buns with smoked chilli and sour cream This recipe uses slow-cooked beef but you could easily substitute for lamb.
